Baby Love Disco Edinburgh just got funkier! We've joined forces with Step It Up Dance so that at our Fringe 2012 events, Edinburgh families can learn the latest moves and steps with a little help from resident Street Dance instructor, Sam. Following three completely sold out years on the Fringe, the Baby Loves Disco groove train returns to Edinburgh to transform the city centre's coolest nightclub into our childproof disco. Just 2 minutes walk from the High Street, the original and best weekend dance party for kids (6 months to 7 years) and especially their parents, features real music spun by real club DJs blending classic disco tunes guaranteed to get those little booties moving and grooving.
The fun spills out from all corners of the club with baskets of scarves and egg shakers, face painting, a dressing-up corner, a chill-out zone with tents, books and chill-out tunes, kids activity taster sessions, nappy changing stations, a full spread of healthy snacks and juiceboxes, and dancing... lots and lots of dancing! The good news is everything for the kids is included in the entry price and to make it even more relaxing for mum and dad, there's a licenced cash bar too!
But at it's core, Baby Loves Disco is a community event that brings kids together with kids, and parents together with parents. Doodle & Splat is an art and craft class aimed at children under 5 years.
